French Connection

It was my good fortune to photograph and work with Montaine and Danielle.

They were going to fly just one practice routine, but I was so busy shooting -- and having a ball at that -- that they flew an extra half show for me after I ran out of film so I could really enjoy the show!

This was the day before an airshow at Langley Air Force Base, Va.

They were a delightful couple and tremendous fliers. I miss them and their aerial ballets.
